Women Only: Need advice on vehicle please

Hi, Linda.  I'm also a crafter and went through a LOT of analysis paralysis.  I finally settled on a small (6x8) trailer that I could stand up in.  It's a Weeroll and I purchased it with windows, barn door, insulation, electric, ceiling vent, RV door, etc.  I have a Suburban that I tow it with...

    Travelers Camp Fest

I’m going to be in CO at that time but unsure about going. Hordes of people isn’t my happy place. I wonder if Kevin has an estimate of possible attendees. With Ausia and others discussing it in videos, I’m afraid it will be too big for me.

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

Okay, I watched the tutorial and seems simple enough. Guess I'll need to get a crimping tool unless my BIL has one. But I'm actually beginning to think I can do this so thanks to everyone for your patience. A couple of questions: I have two 100W panels, a 30A controller and a 500W inverter...

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

Thank you. Now I don’t feel quite so dumb. I’ll take a watch tomorrow when my brain is fresh.

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

Okay. But how do you add them? Sorry to be so dense & needy. :)

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

IMy thought was that I could put in-line fuses in on all the positive cables and forego a breaker box/fuse panel for now. I can only use the MC4 fuse between the panels and the controller, right? I would need other fuses between the controller/battery and inverter/battery.

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

Thanks. Doesn’t look like I will get a direct, simple answer. Perhaps because nothing with solar is simple. Maybe I’ll just store all my components, get a battery charger and use that until I can get someone to help me with the install. So damn frustrating. :(. Or maybe I’ll just forego the...

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

I do not plan on having a fuse box at this time. I’m just talking about adding in-line fuses to the positive cables.

    Tutorial for adding in-line fuses

I’ve been looking on YT for a good tutorial on how to add in-line fuses on my solar set up. I’m sure it’s not hard but haven’t done it before so I need instruction. TIA!

    Electric and propane inlets

Very easy. Now I just have to figure out solar.

    Weeroll Nomad Conversion

Sierra is full of herself and needs constant reminders who is Alpha. A squirt of water in the face does the trick. :) I plan on posting more pics this weekend. Just a few final touches remain on the inside. Then I have to tackle my solar. Woo doggie, that oughta be fun. I am SO ready to have it...

    Electric and propane inlets

Okay, we put the inlets in the floor with the flip covers facing inside. They are sealed with silicone. One for the electric coming from the battery box (still need to mount it on the cargo basket) and one for the 20 gal propane tank. I just picked up the tank and the hose today. Now I get to...

    Thoughts on securing propane tank

Yes, I’ve looked at some but they all seem to need some kind of vertical support, which I don’t have on that cargo basket.

    Thoughts on securing propane tank

I want to store my propane tank outside in my cargo basket. I am thinking about putting a piece of plywood in the bottom of the basket to make it more secure. But I’m still unsure about how to secure the propane tank to the basket. Any thoughts?

    Electric and propane inlets

There is already a 15 amp plug and 2 110V outlets in the trailer but I don’t often plan on being plugged in to power. I would have no idea how to tie that in to my batteries. I have no vents and I don’t plan on mounting the solar panels for now. I just need to get my wiring from the battery...

    Electric and propane inlets

I’ll be putting my battery box and propane tank on the cargo basket of my tongue. I’ve purchased 2 inlets for the wiring and the propane hose. I’m scared as hell to cut the openings for those inlets and now the trailer manufacturer is saying it’s best to go through the floor than the nose. I...

    5X8 or 6X12?

I’m setting up a 6x8x6 Weeroll which is 1400 lbs. I’m 5’4” so I have plenty of headroom and am able to fit my bed across the back which maximizes space. It’s going to be “cozy” in there with the dog and I but I think it will work nicely.

    I got my Weeroll!

Danny, I’m in Carson Valley so not real close to you.

    Weeroll Nomad Conversion

He is!  That’s what he’s doing now. He’s finished the initial fabrication of one model and now working on another.

    Weeroll Nomad Conversion

Once Bob’s video came out their business exploded. The all aluminum ones are being manufactured in FL and he’s doing one model at a time to get his laser templates done. The one like mine (with some steel) is outsourced to GA. He is trying to keep up with orders. Right now it just comes down to...
