    Period and Pads- options

You know those big packs of baby diapers? I only find them at Walmart anymore and they're labeled as burp rags or something I think. But they're these tri-fold cotton things and the middle section is thick and absorbent. You can add a snap to the foldy parts if you want. Cut them in half for...

    Make money by writing

I responded in the other thread but it looks like it got deleted? Anyways I'm on the slowest Internet in the world (I'm suprised the forum is loading) so I can't look up links, sorry. There are a ton of Kindle books about Kindle publishing. I got started with one called the Kindle Publishing...

Here is how you beat the system (THE MATRIX)! Plus a rundown of various options!

It's all in how you do it, or in what you can imagine without society's help. Here's my version of hacking capitalism: After van dwelling and really never being in one place for more than a couple weeks for years I wanted to wake up in the same place every day. So I bought a little home. It...

What does everybody do for work/money?

I wrote a couple books that I self published on Amazon - it turns out that writing can be so much more profitable than I'd ever thought. This pays about 2x my monthly expenses, but of course varies from month to month. I'm in the process of putting up two little rentals (one down one to go)...

    Wilderness Camping Dangers

I live very closely with bears and moose. The most I've ever needed to do is shoot the ground in front of a charging bear. Most charges are not for real anyways (tho they all feel real!). Truly the most dangerous animal in the woods walks on two legs.

    Spray foam insulation kits?

Doesn't the motion of the vehicle crack the foam?

    Airstream Insulating

I think I'm moving into an airstream for the winter. In the cold. Temperatures will probably hover around zero for most of the winter. The airstream is free and I haven't seen it yet, but I imagine there'll be a need to replace the insulation. How big of a project is this? Do the inside...

    new van renovations

Thanks Bob.  It was one of those spur of the moment Lowes parking lot renovations and I wasn't about to stand in the long return line to get another kind of nail.  And now I'm about to be off home (on the other side of the river from roads and vans) for a couple weeks and then who...

    new van renovations

The eagle creek pack it cubes (thanks triumph!!!) allowed me to go from cinder blocks and big rubbermaid totes to a much more minimalist design.  For the first time I can sit up in my bed - speaking of which, it was time to ditch that mattress after 5 or 6 years.  This was a $42...

Socially awkward, introductions usually come last for me, but here goes!

    Electricity?

Crap. &nbsp;Do they not make 16.9v panels anymore? &nbsp;Google only turns them up in ten watt backpacking gadgets...&nbsp;<div><br></div><div><br></div>

    Electricity?

    Thanks! &nbsp;

    Electricity?

<br><div>I'm pondering adding another solar panel to the two I have (I already get infinite electricity in the summer but very little in the winter). &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>It needs to be the same voltage as the other panels, right? &nbsp;Or is it the same amps...

    Ticks and fleas

    <div><br></div><div>Well, see, I have this thing called reading comprehension. &nbsp;For example, when you say:</div><div><br></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(247, 247, 247); font-size: large; ">...

    Ever been caught/harassed?

90% of the time they check your license and tell you to leave. Once they detained me and a female officer came along and wanted to take me to a shelter. Another time campus cops in PA told me my vehicle was illegal to operate in their state. I just kept being really confrontational until they...

    Ticks and fleas
