I had a Propex in my last van. Ran great for 4 years till I sold the van. I did read the comparison between Propex and Webasto above, but the authors were very subjective in their assessment of the 2 heaters, so I would disregard that comparason.

Just don't travel in CA with that Taurus Judge.  It's prohibited in CA.

I have slept in my van for 2 years with an Olympian Wave 3 going all night long in the winter and never had mine go off.  Proper ventilation is the key.

I've replaced the entire engine wiring harness on a 1989 Dodge van and it's not too bad a job. A few hours of labor and a $25.00 harness from Pick N Pull.

My 1990 Grumman Olson (4BT 4 speed manual) has a 7 foot floor to ceiling  spec.   It's loud, but 300 miles per day is not bad.   17 mpg.

If you use a Verizon MiFi or other hotspot, just put it on the dash up front and the bluetooth signals will be very strong inside the van.

66788 said he had a Xantrex ProSine 1000 inverter.  That is a completely different inverter series than the ProWatt.   The ProSine is a commercial heavy duty inverter that costs more than twiice what the ProWatt costs.

Wouldn't you need a magnifying glass to see mothballs?

Don't forget to cover the front of the Wave 3 when not in use because dust will contaminate and render inoperative the heating pad.
