I don't hitchhike, or pick up hitchhikers
If I get a spontaneous offer of a ride while not hitching and I think the offer is ok, I'll accept a ride, especially if I know the person. Sometimes I'll offer a ride to a walker who isn't hitching
probably dumb of me, I accepted an unasked for ride one...
Big T, thanks for the warning! I have big ass feet too (13, coincidentally) I'll definitely keep it in mind if i go hunting
Thanks for the trailer info, Hepcat, I actually meant folks I know who have recumbents and upwrongs,
Some go to recumbents and never look back, some dip their feet in and...
Hepcat, I see what you mean by the complication of answering that question, and you're the second person who's warned me about pushing too high a gear with a recumbent
I look at bikes, like cars, as transportation, so I'd be thinking 'commuter' with maybe the option of towing, and yeah, i sort...
You know, Xfile, that's a good point, honestly traveling from California to buy a van that might have some problems you don't want to deal with is a lot of money out the window for you, and I am getting to like the van better, the more I drive it
Besides, the leak is confirmed, and I'm gonna...
It depends on how much light and vision you want
if you want a brighter space with views out the windows, window van, if you want a darker less visible space folks can't see into, no windows, everything is a trade off
Agreed, to a point, PBS and BBC both have educational programming, but watching Sesame Street (do they still have that?) as an adult wouldn't make me smarter, it's make me suicidal
and for everything you can learn on TV, you can learn it far more in-depth by reading
well John, I did say I wasn't experienced with horses, so not surprising
I went back to motorcycles originally because they're far easier to work on than a car, but of course you're exposed to the elements, so not so comfy
I'm sure a plow horse needs a LOT of grain, and a lot of care, pulling a...
Hmm, ok, last picture was of a Kompact Kamper 'mini mate' sort of a pop up for motorcycles, you can google that, if curious
EGR code means there is a problem either with the EGR valve or the circuit
I'd bet on the valve, they get carboned up and sometimes just stick
I am getting used to driving...
I knew about the Amish, but I always figured that was special dispensation in just those specific areas
here we sometimes have 'trail rides' that travel along public highway (usually just off the access roads) but they're almost more like parades, with support vehicles running interference, etc...
That's genuinely a very interesting idea, one of the problems some have encountered trying to go mobile have been vehicle breakdowns and not being very good mechanics
My own take is I have learned to hate working on cars, trucks, and especially vans
That's one reason I'm considering a moto...
