    Recommendations on securing furniture please.

Oh ok - thanks for the clarification. I have a goal zero - going to do the novice route for electrical; not through walls. Solar is GZ on a tripod. I was thinking Maxx fan/s too … I don't know why that dicor and butal tape always looks so messy on the van builds I have watched - seems like it...

Thank you John - I will google L Track. What are skin penetrations?

    Recommendations on securing furniture please.

Recommendations on securing furniture please. I am moving into the van before I do any build out - I have some furniture and tubs and a bed to put in the van … I have almost everything already lol! My question is - what is the best way to secure these items until I can get around to a proper...

    Lock your house

That is so bizarre!!! But don't blame CRVL people - people have free will and that individual chose to be vile. Truly gross - I am sorry that you had that experience ((HUG!!))

    Van versus Car???

My situation seems to be so similar to yours … except storage - I would rather sell and pass forward items than put in storage. I seem to recall a video on YouTube by Bob Wells where he says that unless you are mechanically inclined - I would say go for the vehicle in the best mechanical...

    Buying a 2018 Promaster 1500 - NOT high top tomorrow …

    azmike9 - thanks! I did not know that. Wonder why - if it is 3/4 of a ton - it is called a 2500 and not a 1500 - since 1500 is 3/4 a ton … ;)

    Buying a 2018 Promaster 1500 - NOT high top tomorrow …

tx2sturgis - oh my gosh - sounds like algebra! :) Thank you tx2sturgis - I really am so excited to be a step closer to being on the road. I am not going to do any van build though right away … just travel and fix it up as I go.

How do you mount your Travel Berkey water filter?

My Yeti one gallon jug has a nice rubber base that can be mounted to the counter or wall - I am just surprised that the Berkey does not have something similar … especially for the "Travel" Berkey. For now I will probably do like you said and make sure the top is empty and then secure both halves...

    Buying a 2018 Promaster 1500 - NOT high top tomorrow …

I believe the engine and transmission are the same - and I think the brakes are more substantial in the 2500. So when I got into the back of the 1500 I was bent over - I am 5'10" - and it is so small. The price I saw at Aikens website (in GA) was $26k out the door … the 2500 on the other hand...

How do you mount your Travel Berkey water filter?

How do you mount your Travel Berkey water filter? I have seen a few videos and seems they are always ratcheted or bunjeed in - has anyone seen anything different?

Is a pottery sink basin practical/realistic?

I just watch a youtube video where the woman inset her porcelain sink into a drawer … I have never seen that before. Oh well, time will tell and pictures to follow lol!

Seriously, so you want to be in love again...

Yes! There are soooooo many facets.
