Adding 600w of solar... am I doing this correctly?

300 watt panels are usually 24 volt. If that's the case, connecting in parallel is fine. Running the controller output to the fuse panel is okay as long as you are connecting to a line that goes direct to your batteries. Best to have a fuse in this line.

I plugged my SIM into my 6620 today to check if the data speed is uncapped. It still works and the data is indeed uncapped.

"Unlimited" for $40/month for unlocked iPhones

I just learned that the Visible SIM works in my Verizon 6620L Mifi JetPack. It was quite simple. Replace the Mifi SIM with the Visible SIM. Once powered up connect to the Mifi. Now start your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address box. This will display the settings page for the Mifi. You...

"Unlimited" for $40/month for unlocked iPhones

I signed up for Visible 3 weeks ago. I also got no return label or instructions for returning the phone for the swap. After dealing with their totally useless customer support for 3 days for a no mobile data issue, I finally figured out what was wrong on my own.  Only one device can connect to...

    Battery 'Stress' Reliever?

The topic is about storing 12 volt DC power, so it is no more dangerous than a 12 volt battery. A hard start kit does not store any power. It changes the voltage to current phase which will aid in starting an AC induction motor. A capacitor can not store AC power just as a battery can not store...

    Camco Olympian Wave 3 Heater

I don't know what the resolution of it is or what the alarm level is, but it occasionally will display a number when I use my cooktop. The fact is that when a portable unvented heater is used "properly" there is no or very little danger of CO poisoning. This is  true for ceramic or catalytic. If...

    Camco Olympian Wave 3 Heater

I have no experience with a Little Buddy but I have a standard Buddy that I've used for 9 years. It has served me well. I have a CO detector with a display and it has never gone above zero when using my Buddy. Quote from the Buddy manual: "This heater is safe for indoor use in small...

    Camco Olympian Wave 3 Heater

My intent was to show that there is a much cheaper alternative to the Wave. Here's a comparison for the Wave 3 vs the Little Buddy. Wave 3 - 0.032 gph @3000 BTU - Walmart price: $170.55 Little Buddy - 0.042 gph @3800 BTU - Walmart price: $63.00

    Camco Olympian Wave 3 Heater

I have no experience with a Wave heater, but I have a Buddy heater in my motorhome. I removed the regulator from the Buddy and plumbed it into my propane line. Here are some specs I found online comparing the Wave and Buddy: Wave - 0.087 gph @8000 BTU - Walmart price: $280.00 Buddy - 0.079 gph...

Please Help Review My Wiring Diagram

Wire panels in series if your controller will handle the voltage. Series is more efficient when using an MPPT controller. Replace the 40 amp fuse from your panels with a switch. Your panels will never produce enough current to blow the fuse. Move the fuse box connection from the controller to...

No more roof space. Hood, sides and back ok?

I mounted two panels on the side of my coach. They can be tilted up or removed and placed out in the sun. [img=300x225] [img=300x225] [img=300x225]

"Unlimited" for $40/month for unlocked iPhones

I'm presently using Straight Talk unlimited with auto-pay and with the added fees it comes to $60 per month. My cheap Samsung phone has no hotspot so I am tempted to switch to Visible.

I would suggest getting a converter and wiring it for portable use. You can purchase one cheaper than the charger you mention. Battle Born 100ah Lithium in Canada?

The Tesla battery pack is 24 volts. This means that to use one of these you need to down convert to 12 volts to feed the 12 volts needed for your RV. The biggest problem will be charging. If you want to charge from the alternator, you will need to up convert to 24 volts. Charging from solar is a...
