    Grant's Shuttle Bus Conversion

$4000 for a 2009? It makes me think that the owner knows that there are major problems.

    I got my Big Buddy

I have a Tough Buddy that I bought in 2007.  They don't seem to be manufactured now, so I would guess that you got old stock. Nothing wrong with that when it saves you money.

    Sprinter lease

Just remember that if you are not going to buy it at the end, you can not modify it without penalty. Talk to the leasing company. Tell them that you want to use it as a daily driver and for camping on the weekends.

    Roadtrek - ground clearance issues?

My owner's manual says that it has an 8" clearance. I just take it easy on the dirt roads and continually eyeball the contours of the road. What I would stress needs extra care is tall grass that appears level and hides rocks. I found out the hard way once.

Anyone install a safe in their van?

What ZoNiE and Gotsmart are saying is that people do not want anyone to know that they have a safe in their vehicle.  They could become a target.  It is a bad idea to post such info online.

I've slept in my van for two nights now (and improvements)

If you ever need to stop on the side of a busy highway to use the toilet, you will find a use for the doors. It is a lot quicker to use them than to close curtains.

Survived my first week at Amazon!

New Balance makes a lot of wide sizes. The problem is to find a store that carries a good selection. Walmart (in Canada) carries DrScholls in wide sizes. The US Walmarts I looked in a couple of years ago did not have them.

Might buy this Class B. Opinions?

There should be a heavy curtain to draw across the windshield for privacy.  I did see one setup where the curtain was behind the seats.  I like the setup in the back.  You could remove the table/bed if necessary to haul stuff.  Mine is not open like that. If the curtain is missing, that would...

Might buy this Class B. Opinions?

A 1996 for $11,500 does not sound too bad. I suggest you check if the front seats swivel. I found changing the dinette to a bed and back every day to be a drag, so now it stays as a bed all the time. My Class B has a holder in the floor for a extra small table near the front that I use. I...
