    Hello from MO

Lots of national parks. Used to stay at this place called Stage Stop, but I heard they closed it to camping. Plenty of other places in the area though. It's a lot of forest and grazing land. Weirdly large cows everywhere. The one thing people are big on in area is the spiritual angle. Drum...

    How do you make money?

If I did it right, I could use websites like Flippa to pick up affiliate websites that are established or doing decently for about five times earnings. The cool thing about that, is that they run by themselves and there's little overhead. Established dropshipping bizes are the same basic thing...

Money that comes at the cost of YOU is too expensive.⠀

Especially about the job thing. If you pick a degree or area of profession just because the pay is good, you'll never be especially good at it. You have to like what you do. If you don't, you'll never be happy doing it. One thought though: You can never go wrong with travel beyond the US. If...

What's the highest priority piece of a conversion?

Interesting. I didn't really have a plan for wires. But I would like them to be easy to get to without tearing out a wall. Maybe sandwiched between the insulation and the dry wall? They told me it was a 1993 sunshine star ray, but I'm pretty sure it's an 83. The biggest issue, and sadly, it's...

What's the highest priority piece of a conversion?

I think I saw that one! Is that the one with the wonder oven video link about six pages in? Been meaning to set one of those up.

What's the highest priority piece of a conversion?

Well, oddly enough, I've been living minimally for years. Believe it or not, since I stopped renting rooms in my random cities, I've actually accumulated more stuff. But that's neither here nor there. The single biggest component of the setup I want to do, in terms of financing is the battery...

What's the highest priority piece of a conversion?

Hey Angie, I'm in New Hampshire right now, but I travel every three to six months or so for work. So I can end up anywhere, at any time of year. Hot or cold, in any kind of geography, and I never know ahead of time until I have an offer in hand. Heating and staying warm has been a real...

What's the highest priority piece of a conversion?

For the last couple of weeks, I've been looking at my camper, and saying to myself, "shit dude, everything is in absolutely the wrong place." So I started looking into replacement campers, and quickly discovered there too, that pretty much everything in a traditional camper is not actually built...

    Nyan Truck?

Looks like something that either belongs to a nightclub or a skating rink. That said, I would happily drive something like that, live in it, maybe convert it into a popout camper.

    Solar Electric VW Bus

The height of it reminds me of the time I met a guy who wielded a yacht to the top of a school bus. I'm curious what the range might be on a solar converted vw van.

What kind of driver license do you need for RV?

Depends on the state. I saw a really good breakdown of the per state regulations on it. Lemme see if I can dig it up. Here it is: http://changingears.com/rv-sec-state-rv-license.shtml And the companion video is here:

    Hello from MO

You're gonna have a ton of fun. In my experience, the best place to summer in the country is Sedona Arizona. Actually, in terms of weather, it's about the perfect elevation year round. Last time I was there, we had one day of miserable weather the whole year. Rest of time was marvelous...

    What do you call this?

Actually using LED's for about half the lights in here. Maybe I'm using the wrong ones. They're not very bright, and they run as hot or hotter than the old fashioned incandescents. I'm all for LED's, if I can take my precious lumens and make lumenaide. Is there a particular brand you like?

    What do you call this?

Hey guys and gals, I have a lot of lights around my RV that are either missing covers, or where the covers are just old and flaky. Here's a picture of one I just took. Do you know what I might call one of these? Do they have a name? And, where do I get replacements? Also, do you know if they...

    Hello from MO

Hey Rob, welcome aboard. I just came from St. Louis. It's one of my favorite places in the country (except for the winter weather).

    What are YOU listening to??

I've got this playlist on spotify that I really enjoy. It's all country music, underground rap, and modern hipster folkie music. I like all these genres for exactly the same reason.

    How everyone else sees vans

I don't really know if I've put any thought into it. The great thing about vans is that they're almost totally invisible. Although, you're probably right about the balloons.

    Comfy no-heat warmth solution

Man, that could be anything. You've got the Rainbow kids that do that sort of thing everywhere. They're fun to travel with, but hippies, even younger ones, are really set in their ways. Could be Burning Man. I've never been, but I hear good things.

    Anyone else using Xfinity Hotspots?

Same here. I usually get my netflix on the weekends. It's nice to be able to unwind, and put the concerns and work related thoughts down for a couple of hours.

    City Camping Update

Right on. Thanks, I didn't think of that. You're probably right. I'm thinking, even the sign might be overkill. Pallets are easy enough to get. So far, my site is pretty clean. I've been careful to pick up things like coffee cups, and receipts, little pieces of cardboard and whatnot that end...
