Kayaks

I have always wanted to get a kayak and put a rack on top of my little teardrop that I pull with my bike, but I'm kinda scared of them. I have heard horror stories of people in kayaks by themselves. Living and traveling in alligator country and all! Are they really hard to learn to ride in and...

One Thing You Can't Live Without......

When you live and travel mostly in the deep south, it's a fan. I have one that uses batteries and will run on shore power. I wouldn't be able to sleep in the warm months witout it! Oh, yea, my motorcycle, never leave home without it!

I have a 14 foot cargo trailer that my Dad made into a camper for me, and it has a barn door so I can pull my motorcycle up in it when I'm traveling. My Dad made the beds and dining table so that they lift up and are held by heavy chains up against the wall so there is plenty of room for my bike...

Yes, my trailer is VERY heavy, but my trike is VERY heavy, and my trailer is my camper also. You wouldn't need a very big trailer though if you were going to use it for just your bike, you could probably get the smallest one they make, and it would be so light you probably would forget it's back...

    Wood gasifier=electricity/hot water

That is an awesome idea! It would be great if you couldn't get any gas for your generator and stuff. At least you would still be able survive. And now a day's we should always be thinking outside the box, just in case.

Vincent, my Van that Goghs... in progress

I LOVE what the white wood and bead board do in your van, it lightens it up and makes it feel more airy, and I also like the muslim idea, it also adds to the feel. I like your van compared to others cause it doesn't feel so much like a dark cave. I think I'm going to get myself some bead board...
