    Stealth camping idea for walmart

Telcobilly, my husband and I drove truck together for almost 19 years and my husband NEVER did that either. But I totally agree w/you about the guilt by assoc. thing, it's awful how some have ruined it for the rest. And there are multitudes of places that have banned drivers for exactly that.

    Greetings From SC! :-)

Welcome Joey, glad you finally decided to come out of lurkdum! You'll be one of the lucky ones if you can keep the house AND travel! Ever thought about renting it out? That may be an idea If you wanted to travel for a long while, then if you didn't like being on the road all the time you'd be...

RV bedroom remodel king to twin

That's a really great job Blars. If I get a motorhome I will be doing exactly the same thing. Without those huge, useless bed's there's plenty of room to stretch out. Those tiny rooms seem like they would be VERY claustrophobic! I'm very seriously thinking about selling my van, cargo camper and...

    Motorhome VS Travail Trailer?

Dang Bri, I thought my big gas hog trike did bad at 30mpg's pulling my teardrop, how heavy is that sidecar? What kind of bike do you have? I thought something was wrong, like I need a tune up or something, guess it must be right if your only getting 30.

    City hopping

Cubey, have you ever thought about getting one of those passport america thingy's or something of that sort? They are usually about $40.00 for a year and you can get into an RV park for usually half price. It might be worth looking into if you are thinking that you will have to stay in a park...

    Hey from Alabama!

Welcome to you both, 5th wheels are really nice and they have loads of room, my mom lived in one in my yard for years with no problems what so ever, I think they are better set up to live in full time more than any other RV. I can't comment on that brand though, I'm not sure what her's was.

Off-Grid Home-Base for the RV Dweller

That's beautiful black, you have enough property you could put in a legal campground and make a little income if you ever needed to. Kentucky is a very beautiful place.

Should You Tell Your Family & Friends?

I have already told all my children that when the sad day comes when my husband's failing heart and arteries stop doing what they are supposed to, I'm leaving. I can't afford to stay in this house and pay for all of this without both incomes and everyone already knows that. The hard part for me...

    Your barter-able skillz

Wow! All ya'll can do alot that you could trade or get paid to do! And there are alot of people who are on S.S. disability that are on this forum, so I would imagine that there would be a huge need for the medical people out on the road. And again, because of being disabled they could very well...
