Anyone dumpster-dive before?

I don't think its right for anybody to judge anyone for how they look or what they do. Nobody knows what a person is going thru unless you walk in there shoes.
I think if a person needs...or wants to do whatever they do(as long as it doesn't harm or violate another) then that is their...

    Here's My Dilemma...

Hey Joey, when you poured the gas in did you notice if it sprayed into the engine when you pump the throttle?
Once the float bowl is full of gas. The gas is pulled into the engine by vacuum and goes thru the jets. So the passage thru the jets must be plugged. Unfortunately the only...

    Solo women RVers

I never consider when I meet a woman, that we will hook up. I have never been one to sleep with someone I just met. If I meet someone I am interested in for a possible relationship. I like to get to know that person, and it would be awhile down the road before it would go any farther. Besides...

    Here's My Dilemma...

That tube sticking up toward the front by the choke butterfly is the vent for the float bowl. If you take about 4 ounces of gas and pour it into that tube. That should put gas into the float bowl. Then try and start it to see if it will run. Let me know what happens.

Ladies, have you gone crazy, yet?

I tried sniffing model glue once when I was young...had a headache for 3 days.
So I try to avoid those unique smells.

    Anyone dumpster-dive before?

I've never dumpster dove...never really considered it.
I don't know if I would if I was really starving.
I've always been a person who tries to give more then I take. So as long as I have enough to get by on, I would leave it for someone who needs it.
I don't have an opinion of...

Are you also in this life for political reasons?

No. I have had a desire for this all my life. Financial was the biggest turning point for me. I don't need much space to live, and now I have it.
I call the camper my bedroom, when I step out, that is the rest of my house.

    Having trouble understanding this!

I assume your not working with aluminum.
Depending on how thick the paneling is, you might be able to use a strong magnet to detect the ribs. Also if you push on the paneling and it flexes, you can go along and if it doesn't flex in when you push. There is probably a rib there. One...

Well, They are on their way this morning. I felt kinda sad to see them go, and I don't even know them.
Maybe it's because they are leaving and I'm not.

    Having trouble understanding this!

Most of the wiring you would deal with are the wires that go to the taillights. They are bundled together and usually run along the bottom. In alot of cases they are run under the van along the frame. The only time you may run into wires along the wall ribs is if there is an overhead light.
