2014 Chevy Express 2500 Van Build: Luisafernandes

Sounds good. Take care and when your tires need replaced check into Good Year Duratrac tires. I saw you got stuck in the snow/mud. I ran them on my jeep in the past and now have a set on the van. Zero complaints for them on the van on highway, in the rain, 4 inches of snow or soft sand driving...

2014 Chevy Express 2500 Van Build: Luisafernandes

As many have stated on here you have done a fantastic job on your build and Youtube videos. I answered the plea for help. I found your thread a week ago and read it straight through. I have been living in a GMC Savana cargo that was quickly built 4 months ago just to live in with the intentions...

2014 Chevy Express 2500 Van Build: Luisafernandes

Fantastic job on the build. I came across the build last night and read it start to now. I had already planed on building my 2500 Savana in the spring with pretty much the same layout as what you have done. Its great to see it in pictures and how functional it is. You had mentioned a sink in the...

    What does freedom really mean?

Bobs posting on insulation is great. Search around online through this forum, Youtube and even do a Google image search for interior layouts for vandwellers to get as many ideas as to what you THINK you need and can afford. It changes every day. If your not in a great hurry to leave out in the...

Hello from the East Coast, Maryland / Pa area

LifeInEveryBreath, I bought the Savana when I was living in a house to use as a work van early this spring. Its a 3/4 ton with a 350 motor. Easy to work on, parts are readily available and it could pull my jeep on a trailer when I took it to a legal offroad park in PA. I haven't had any issues...

    Living in an XJ.

Love this thread. I own a 98 xj (my user name) that is set up for off roading. Winch, lifted, lockers in front and rear diffs, rock sliders, etc and it gets used offroad as much as I can. You mentioned getting a vent on top for ventilation. A sun roof would do that for you and keep the stealth...
