    Thanks for all the tips!  i dont know if ill go as far as the chalk thing, but the ribs are insulated already, i ended up putting rockwool in the gaps as lightly as i could, i was just worried about the gap of space between the insulation and the wood wall on the inside. (if that makes sense?)

    more or less, i dont know how well it will work tho, until i try it out and see for myself. i just want to tr to minimize the exposure to the metal as much as possible, and even still this may not even work lol.

I explained to all the scrap yards that I was looking for the rear doors, and with the windows that have the opening latches on them. how ever laws have changed here and we can no longer roam a scrap...

    Help... insulating lower part of E250?

    depending what you are putting on the walls you could always use rock wool, just strip it down to the thickness you need, and you can also cram it in (lightly mind you as to not loose R value), into the channels. then either ply wood over it, or board and baton.

    Do i need a charge controller with a isolator?

    ohh ok, so if i install a smart isolator i wont have to worry about damaging my batteries. im planning on getting solar in the near future, but i wanted to at least get a isolator because its not always sunny in the winter, so im just covering the grey area :p

    I'm going to be picking up a isolator in the next few weeks, before dropping big $$ on a solar kit. How ever I'm curious to know if I need a charge controller for the batteries with the isolator? im just worried about over charging them and damaging the bank.
