Thanks for letting us dock the Prairie Schooner for a bit!  We made it to Salt Lake city (stopped in Moab and did the arches)  in time for the Saturday farmers market (one of the cities we wanted to check out for our business)!  Was great to meet a few of you even though it rained and we didn't...

Say hello to "The Prairie Schooner"!

Stopped by the gtg in Colorado and had some questions about the freezer too.   Avanti makes it.  It's the smallest(2.4 cubic feet) , most efficient chest freezer I could find.  160 bucks.  I run it with a 12v temperature controller (inkbird) and a dedicated 400 watt Inverter (bestek(sp?)).  The...

Say hello to "The Prairie Schooner"!

Mainly running 120v freezer, water pump, maxxair fan, magic bullet, laptop when needed.  Working pretty well so far! We drive almost every day however...so alternator does a lot of the heavy lifting.  We get 10amps from the panel at noon in full sun (when battery can take it).  Prairie Schooner...

Solar went on roof today! 150w renogy.   The panel was just the right width to get into the stringers!  Haven't drilled the wire hole yet though.   Also put in maxxair fan.  Went through a rain storm already with no apparent leaks.... Got another storm coming though....

Best use for front receiver hitch

I have one... Reese 2inch I think.  A good spot for tools (jack and stand, wrenches, small BBQ,  heavy small stuff) I was thinking.  Just as long as I can lock it up.  If I keep it low and small enough will it affect anything? What else could I do with it?  I was originally thinking of...
