2002 Dodge B3500 passenger van ........ I need 3 more inches in my side to side width below the windows ........ can I gain this much by tearing out the interior walls from the floor to the windows?
Thank you if you can help.
I cannot seem to find a faraday bag or case for my cell phone. Sure, they are everywhere for sale at various prices but I have yet to find even one without negative reviews saying it doesn't work.
Do you know of one that works as it should?
My van is a one ton 15 passenger Dodge Ram 3500
My battery bank is 360 lbs, my fridge is 60 lbs and my microwave weighs 15 lbs for a total weight of 435 lbs.
Will I have weight distribution problems if I put that 435 lbs behind the driver seat?
Thank you if you can help.
Thank you for the responses guys.
I have been using memory foam and HATE it. Looking to user a traditional mattress with the coil springs.
Guess I will just have to put it lengthwise because you are right ...... that thick wire frame around it would not be very easy to force into place.
I have a 2002 Ram 3500 passenger van with a 127" wheelbase.
Can a full or short queen mattress that is 75" long be scrunched up to fit crossways in the rear of this van?
The internet says it is 73.5" wide at the beltline but my measurements saya it is 71.5".
I would prefer it fit sideways so...
No, I am not wanted by any law enforcement agency for any reason. My chld support has long since been paid, I do not owe a bunch of bills, etc, etc, etc.
However, I want to disappear.
Am I the only want who wants to live without ties?
I would have preferred a bed that does not convert from a sofa but after taking actual measurements (never trust what you read online) we have decided that now a convertible bed/ sofa is a better idea.
My questions are simple:
Which memory foam mattresses can be cut in half without too much...
We will be staying out a week or so at a time. Not all of our meals will be made with refrigerated foods. About half of them will use shelf stable foods and foods that only require refrigeration without freezing
I thank you all for your advice but all I wanna know is your opinion on the freezer/ freezerless issue.
We have been running a 110 volt 7.5 cu ft refrigerator in our short bus for almost five years, strictly on 600 watts of solar. It works great
I might add we are not strangers to this type of travel .... have been doing it in a short bus for nearly 5 years. However, we have never been gone for more than a month. We do live in an off grid cabin without an electric, water or gas bill to pay.
Downsizing to a van because my significant...
I would not have asked if I did not want to know.
Ice will never be used .... ice cream occasionally and I figure we can make a trip to town for it once a week or so.
We will almost never stay where there are hookups ..... boondock almost 100 percent of the time.
Amenities? Do ya mean shower...
Our build will be very minimal with no indoor sink or stove top. However, we will be adding a fridge of about 4.5 cubic feet.
My question is freezer or freezerless? One complete shelf will be lost to accommodate even the smallest freezer.
I am leaning toward no freezer as the only food item...
Not my idea but I will pass it along.
Roof rack with an orange ladder mounted to it will hide roof vent and a solar panel or two.
Hang an orange work vest on the passenger seat and it adds to the deception.
The dilemma has been solved ...... I am going to mount the current front passenger seat on a swivel mount in the same position as a second row passenger side captains chair.
