have a wood stove in my box truck <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"> it works well for me.. to be on the road, simply pull the outside chimney down and plug the hole it goes in.&nbsp; so only use it while stationary <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"><br>

Why am I thinking that this is a bad idea for those with plastic parts in their vehicle? I read the piece, and it shows him driving with it burning! All because he did not want to fix the heater.

Am i the only one who sees a posting date pf 1970 on the first post?! Is pond a time traveler...he posted this before there was internet lol

Ok now i look crazy, it says 2012 now

Anyway...I've seen cars running on wood burning gasifiers :d

I with the crowd on this one.

I LOVE it, but I'm not so sure about that driving down the road with it burning???? :s

I must say, though, that I hate that the article describes this guy as "Zany".

I think it's an interesting solution to his dilemma, but they act like this guy belongs in a straight jacket! What's wrong with 'thinking outside the box'??

Once again...someone's come up with something alittle different or weird, so we'd better ridicule him!
