Has anyone licked this problem? Most of my TV watching and of course all my gaming is done on one of these two machines.

I thought I read somewhere that the Xbox itself runs on 12 volts nativly; that the power brick converts the 110 to 12. Any way to 'cut out the middle man' and run the Xbox on 12v directly?
