Women Only: Renting a car for the RTR

Hi, I am Cynthia and I am renting a compact SUV and bringing a tent to the rtr. Is anyone else doing this? Any solo females? I will be driving from California where I live and taking a week off of work to do this. I want to learn as much as I can and would like to meet or maybe even camp with others who are doing the same. I think this sub forum is a great idea. I will be arriving on day 3- 1/11 and don't necessarily have to stay in the new RTR location. The old location or closer would be fine too. I am very interested in meeting people who are newbies and I know I will meet old pros too. I am not sure how we can connect but posting here is a start. I would especially like to hear from any RTR first timers and hope to connect. Thanks.
