I ordered a She Wee and it arrived today.  If you need to collect a urine specimen from a small child, it might be useful. For an adult woman who needs to pee during the night while half asleep, it's a no from me.  It was in an envelope! Not even a box!  That's how small it is.

Hi Stealth- Jeez, that is bizarre...an envelope? I hope it came with the right to return it...(unused, of course).

I'm thinking a large size plastic  funnel over a big plastic jug would do the trick, and not make perfect positioning so important when one is half asleep....

Do others have suggestions on what works well if a She-Wee is too small?

It only cost about $3 so it's not worth the effort, postage and fuel to return it. Maybe I got a knock off rather than the real thing, but I think I could just go to a hardware store, or even a home wares store, and buy a large silicone funnel for the same use.

I had the same experience. I kept mine for when I'm out hiking or wide awake camping in the middle of no where. Also comes in handy if you don't want to sit on a public toilet seat...but no good in the middle of the night for me either.  I ended up just getting a porta potty but I also considered just a normal funnel from the hardware store in a jug. I think that could work.

A Costco laundry pod jug.  The mouth is about 10cm in diameter and huge, square and extremely stable base.  It has a small handle which you can hook your first two fingers through. I didn't manage to spill it over months-and I spill everything. You can use it in pitch dark.  I bought a second one and gave my kid the 100+ laundry pods, it's that wonderful.  I would use it and put the paper in a trash bag.  In the morning, it was stable enough that I could put it into one of those recycleble bags and carry it into a bathroom. A liter of pee still wouldn't spill while walking with it fairly carefully.

My van is pretty small and I got a version of the Luggable Loo today. I like the idea of being able to use it as a seat, too! I am not a Costco member but I know what you mean. I will see if one of my Costco friends will help me get one :)

Thanks for the idea of a large-ish silicone funnel.  I was using a flexible large yogurt container, then pour pee into larger container.  I saw a video where a woman stores her pee in a "water flask" that she dedicates to this purpose.  That way, when she is carrying it into an establishment to dump it in their toilet, it doesn't look like pee.  Does any one else feel shy about carrying their "detergent bottle" into the bathroom?
I don't like the small contraptions...easier to just squat if I'm out hiking.

My mom when we were kids kept and MR.Clean bottle with top cut off in the car. If she went shopping and we had to stay in the car we had to use that to pee in and dump it out there in parking lot. So I think any wide mouth bottle will work.

OK.. probably TMI forthcoming.. lol

When I was in my RV I decided to 'test' the waters before van traveling. I purchased a dollar store OIL changing Funnel, the one with the long tube, and an angled top. I stood, funneled into empty large cat litter jug. Things went pretty good. I don't know what happened... after a week, maybe I guess my anatomy changed. WTH? I ended up peeing on my own stupid leg. THAT SUCKED, so I gave up on that. It just seemed to be a 50/50 thing. NOT good enough. ;)

Next, I ultimately knew I could use a portapotty but wanted something less invasive in a minivan. I got the little WalMart brand totable 'toilet' with THREE LEGS (I still cannot get One of them to fold down?!) but I use the expensive liner that came with it, as a base; use two more regular kitchen bags (WHEN is someone going to make one the RIGHT SIZE for these operations?!) and some cat litter.
THE BEST THING about that little WalMart version: the Lid is so tight, there is not any smell (at least my way) If an emergency of 'mixing' the two and the cat litter.. it worked.
SO..
That's all I know. OH.. BTW.. I, too, ordered some fancy pink plastic foldable small pee standing up lady thing. HA.. it sucked. Or? Flopped. That was what sent me to the dollar store version! :)
