So i watched Without Bound again tonight and it got me wondering...where are they now?
Of course i know Bob is doing great thanks to his activeness on the forum and the wonderful videos that he is doing with James and Kyndal. I've met Cheri and know she is living this life happy and healthy. I see Randy's blog is still very active.
But what has happened to the others profiled in the film? Are they still happily living this life or have they moved onto another path to fulfill their dreams? I'm only asking because i'm a curious person by nature. I don't have any ulterior motives. Just throwing that out there.

Anybody else curious?

The young couple in the white dodge are no longer living on the road. Ran out of money and had to get jobs and apartment

The problem you run into here is privacy issues. If someone in the video hasn't made their current situation public, then it wouldn't be right for me or anyone else to speak for them.

I figure if they want the public to know, they'll tell them.

Here is a similar thread that you might have missed: https://vanlivingforum.com/Thread-W...here-Intro-s-please?highlight="Without+Bound"

I'm adding my own continuing idea of how it is going I guess but my thought was they were busy living their dream having defined the path that makes them happy. It is wonderful that they were so open in sharing their thoughts and lives with us.
I did participate in that thread but not much info about those folks came out of it. I am curious how long time dwellers continue to make it work and especially the younger ones.

I guess things ebb and flow. Travel while you can and work when you have to.

Not sure if I'm one of the youngest ones around or not, and I wasn't in that documentary, but at 28 and while working from the road I see no end in sight to this lifestyle. I work remotely for a consulting firm and I have consistent salaried income.

That sounds very interesting. Is it still a 9-5ish kind of thing or are you able to work only enough to take care of your needs?
It is really intriguing that so many folks are able to work remotely. I just wonder if, for most of them, it's the same grind with different scenery.

It's a 9-5 exactly, yes (although here near the west coast it's a 7-3, and we take any excuse to cut out early). I don't think of it as the same grind with different scenery. I think of it as travel with corporate sponsorship.

Understood. It certainly isn't my intention to invade someones privacy.

Almost always they don't mind if you tell about them, but I just try to never do it.

We had a stalker catch up with a member at the RTR one year because she was talked about, so after that I've been real careful. It's not worth the risk to speak for other people.

Always my thought that someone else should make the decision to inform others with what information they want others to know. Some people prefer or need to keep a lower profile and we never know who might be in that situation so just lean toward caution. We adopted a baby years ago and still 29 years later, we have to be on guard and most people aren't aware of that. A story for another thread about privacy.
