Wilson signalboost DT wifi booster?

Just picked up the older version at a thrift store in the original box for 35 dollars. I was wandering if this device could be used to amplify random open wifi signals from like wall-marts or any other open accessible hot spots?? I searched on line but perhaps my keywords were not correct. Thanks

Everything I saw during a quick search shows this as a cell phone booster not a wifi booster.

Yep, that's a cell booster. Worse, it's a old one that doesn't do 4g.

I have a Wilson booster that I use for cell phone and Verizon jet pac wi fi.Works great for both.I don't see any way to use it to boost random wi fi signals.
