Horrors!Now a judge in Nebraska has ruled that the Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster is not a real religion.I'm seeing this going all the way to the Supreme Court.Meanwhile,I think I'll partake of communion.With some cheese on top and a little wine,of course.

Judges have no sense of humor.  Neither, I expect, does the IRS if the High Poobah of TCOTFSM tries to claim Tax Exempt Status.

But, I figure if the UN's ISO (International Standards Organization) can recognize Klingon as a valid world language (and they DO!  No joke.) then the courts could recognise TCOTFSM as a valid religion.  I love choice.

There are legal standards and regulation to confirm to. In the military there is an actual list of religions that a Chaplin has to be able to minister to. If you are killed in military duty you can get a pagan symbol or a agnostic symbol on your headstone. Worth investigating.

Not getting political, but there are reports of Christian Chaplains being prevented from practicing their own faith.

Part of Christian faith is to convert others to it. That's the only prevention. Freedom of religion is very seriously supported.
