Hi all,
As you regular readers know, Hubby and I have two NV high tops. Well, the best laid plans sometimes don't go as foreseen and we've  hardly used my 3500 (Blanca). We originally converted her for the two of us for full-timing.  I haven't gotten all the info together, but we'll be asking in the lower 30s. The van has a full sized double bed, 4.6cu/ft Truckfridge, 440watts solar/200ah. 10" deep stainless pot-washing sink. Fantastic Vent fan with cover.  Opening portholes with screens in rear doors. Floor vents. CRLaurence window on sliding door, TV, well insulated floor to ceiling. Storage galore-cabinets above bed, both sides of van. Three 4 foot drawers (500lb capacity slides), including a sliding drawer for a folding Bike Friday New World Tourist (included with van!).  Lots of extras that will be listed when I finalize the ad details. It's not a professional conversion,  we did it ourselves.

I have a thread on the Nissannvforum which detailed most of the build "New camper conversion in Tucson" in the conversions forum (I'm DesertTed) . Lots of photos but you have to register to see them.  There are plenty of posts with pix that I've made here on CRVL regarding modifications on both vans (and trailer). Almost two years and 70,000+ miles bumper to bumper warranty remaining. Tires are great and she has been meticulously maintained and driven by an old lady, like an old lady (me). The lien will be paid off so we'll have clear title.

We weren't planning on coming to the RTR, but likely will be since it will be easier to sell Blanca in Arizona than in cold rural New Mexico this time of year.  Please email me at [email protected] if you have questions before I get everything together.

I'm trying to attach some photos right now, but my tablet isn't cooperating.

Good luck with the sale Ted, sure sounds like a great set up.

Wow....good luck with the sale...seems like a good price point for this van.

Recently I have seen some youtubers get twice that amount for vans that are not twice as nice. Celebrity has its perks I guess.

Again, good luck, and yeah having two vans when you are only using one...well, maybe time to sell part of the 'fleet'.

Thanjs for the question-the link is:

As far as the price is concerned, for those who know me, I prefer fair win/win situations without playing games.

I'm moving the funds around to pay her off and will start the inventory when we get back to NM later this week. There's a bunch of stuff that will go with it, like a Renogy suitcase solar, a cellphone booster set up in unopened box, tow package with Tekonsha P3 brake controller, technology package w/ backup camera &gps, et cetera. I'll update more later this week.

I'm interested in seeing some photos; will send you an email shortly. I like your build philosophy; keep it simple. I bought a Tundra 4WD and started building a camper (XPS and hand laid fiberglass panels, mounted direct to the frame), but that stalled. I really want to get to remote places, but I'm not sure I need 4WD. A regear and locker, mild lift, and offroad tires on an NV might be fine.

I live in Ruidoso, BTW...

Loan is paid off! Seeking is now official:

2016 Nissan NV3500HD SL (top of the line except for no leather seats) with 27,000 (90+% highway)miles. Now that we've paid off the loan(!!!), we can put her on the market. The clear title should arrive within a week or so. Van is now in Southern New Mexico and we'll be bringing her to the RTR if she is not sold before then.

20 months and 73,000 miles remaining on original (5yr/100,00mile) bumper-to-bumper factory warranty. Here is a long, detailed (not inclusive) list. I'll add things as I remember them:

Has been kept only (except for a one-month trip to Florida) in Desert Southwest-no salt exposure and never any rust. There have been NO mechanical/maintenance issues/problems.

We converted this van originally for full-time living for the two of us. Then Hubby built his own NV2500 conversion for his own traveling. After two years we have ended up exclusively using his van for our wanderings, leaving this van unused (and still making payments on it!). It is obviously a home-built conversion, but we spared little expense on most items.

I have a thread on the Nissannvforum

The two group 27 100ah batteries are 3 years old. The third developed a short and has been removed, but the current batteries run the fridge easily overnights with the existing solar panels. When the batteries are replaced you can add back the third battery into its existing dedicated box.

The price is firm.

I have a Word document with multiple photos. If you wish to see the photos, please PM me with your email address.
