I hear everyone scatters to the wind during the summer? I’m getting on the road for the first time as a camper and was wondering if I can join some of you amazing people that have appeared on Bob’s video’s.
Since I am new at this I would love to enter my new life with some support.
PM me if you would like.
Thanks a bunch,
Julie

Thanks Cyndi you’re right, I am leaving Florida soon and heading up the east coast.

Anyone camping on the east coast in the mountains where it is cool?

Cyndi I wish I could join you this weekend. Have a great time?

I'm in the southeast right now, but it's sure not cool where I am.

Welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here.

Thanks Riverman, yeah I'm traveling with my little pup and she's not diggin this hot weather, looking to cool her down  :s
Thank you for the heads up though, maybe our paths will cross someday.

I was in the Smoky Mountains a couple of weeks ago... it was 90 every day and miserable with no wind blowing. Now, it's cooler up there again. I can't wait to go back.

I'm in Virginia. Working my way down to Texas for the winter.

Hi Lenny,
Thanks for the info, is it really hot there? I mean nothing compares to Florida where I am. Getting out of the steam boat in a few days. Whew!!

Thanks for the heads up. I may PM you to see how long you will be there.

It was mid-90s when I got here. Now it's raining like an MFer and that has cooled it off a lot.

I lived in Tampa Bay for 20 years, so I know all about "hot and humid". ;)

Kinda pleasant in NW FL today.... only because of the rainy skies. I'm sure the sun will be out and 95 again soon. Come on FALL...

I am in Massachusetts and it has been pretty cool where I have been camping. Highest temp so far I think was 84 and that isn’t often you see that. Today I think it reached 71. Sadly cool temperatures come at a cost in the northeast.

Pittsburgh PA!!! stay away from here it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! traffic/people/weather all crap scenery is nice especially north central PA and temps are not all that bad.

Losthighwaydrifter, that’s really funny I am from Pittsburgh, hahaha
North central is beautiful except I have some pretty rough memories of the Dubois area.
Don’t like that area at all.

I actually liked Pittsburgh--spent four weeks there. Very nice parks, wonderful museums, lots of history. I had a great time.

I love Pittsburgh, it’s my home town Lenny.
I think it’s beautiful and the people are so friendly and you’re right the parks are gorgeous and nice museums.
The winters are rough though. It’s one of the least sunniest cities in America.

oh yea people are nice till they get in a car on the parkway then they all turn to a$$holes. LOL and most of the area is stuck in 1992.
Pittsburgh has more mullets than any city in the US! fact. And very narrow minded here. I suggest you come back Lenny and stay in Wilkinsburg area
A place you really should check out is Youngstown Ohio!! around the old idora park neighborhood any were south of Indianola and north of meridian. Have you spent any time in Detroit? I hear its really nice there. Lmfao!!!!!!!!!

I grew up in Detroit, ( well one mile north of there in Warren). I left at 18 for boot camp and only went back to visit family. Most of my life was living in a boat in the San Francisco Area. I moved to the mountains for a while and now I am in Pahrump Nv. Part time traveler.

Hi Julia
I’m near Pittsburgh and my name is Julie. Nice to meet you. I’ve only been on the road a few weeks.
