Keep it simple go to Walmart, buy there 29 group marine battery $100.00, keep it charged when not in use.
I have to agree with this statement.

Dont buy a battery from autozone. Car batteries sure, deep cycle no. When I was researching them their batteries were about the same as walmart but a lot less amp hours capacity.

The ones they sold locally were rated in reserve capacity and not amp hours. I think they were actually marine starting batteries and not deep cycle. Their labels said they were true deep cycle.

When I asked the clerks at autozone where their deep cycle batteries were I had to explain what that was also. So I wouldn't go that route.

They are the best place possibly for the right gauge wiring, ring terminal connectors, fuse blocks, etc if not buying online.

To the OP I would suggest watching a couple of videos on the folding panel you want to use, if it doesn't have a built in charge controller then research a good quality MPPT solar charge controller. For a 100 watt panel a 10a epever charge controller would work.

That would be my suggestion other than as mentioned a "solar generator" self contained battery.

If your mentioned electrical needs are really that minimal that should be doable and also on the cheap. Just remember you have to charge it up every day. A lot of people think they can drain it until its empty and then put the panel out for a few hours and it will be back as good as new.
