Some of the kit prices I've seen, means that you actually pay more for a less efficient panel. There are people selling kits on eBay for $60 that the seller rates at 30 watts. The kits do not include the aluminum frame, the cover glass, or the back board. You will also have to supple a charge controller. If you're looking to solarize your 'home' buy commercial panels, but if you're looking for some fun and maybe learning a little, then why not?akrvbob said:Panels have gotten so cheap I's suggest you be very careful to see how much you actually save.
