"In a second key improvement since this paint's invention in 2021, Ruan found a way to make the paint thinner. This is important because it can continue to reduce air conditioning needs in more commercial settings, for example, if it were used to paint planes, trains, cars, and potentially even spacecraft. That would significantly reduce energy costs on sophisticated electrical systems that need to be cool enough to function at their best. The scientists are in discussions about how to make this paint commercially viable."

Making a van cooler in the winter might not be desirable, though.

That is the main reason we have a white van in Florida. First 2, #1 was brown #2 was burgundy when we bought #3 Requirements Chevy, White, hi-top, 350 engine.

Personally, I find it easier to keep warm than to stay cool, so I would be very interested in this paint. However I doubt it is the kind of paint you could simply brush on...
The inventors at Purdue said they want to sell it at a similar price to other paints. $40-$50 per gallon, they said.

Maybe you could bring the paint to that shop across the border that paints vans for cheap.
