Ultra Touch Natural Cotton Radiant Barrier

I was researching various insulation and came across someone recommending Ultra Touch Natural Cotton Radiant Barrier which is supposedly better than Reflectix in that it also has both heat and sound insulation. I'm not sure what it's R factor.

Has anyone used it? Pros and cons? Does it attract mold? Does it off gas? How many layers should I use to create a very good sound insulation against sound coming from the outside and transmitting sound from inside the van?

this really isn't insulation. it's a radiant barrier. it is also cotton so it probably absorbs water/moisture like a sponge. although they kinda play that off. highdesertranger

I agree with HDR. I considered it for my build but when cotton gets wet it takes a long time to dry. It is made from shredded up blue jeans I believe. When you do a load of laundry, those are the last to get dry and that is even in a heated dryer.
