My build is a 1988 K5 blazer 4X4, pulling a 3/4 ton truckbed trailer with a cabover camper in it. Under the bed where the gas tank was I have a water holding tank from a fifth wheel being strapped in. That's as far as I got so far not the best on gas but it is what I have available ha ha.......

Got the trailer and the camper for free and already had the blazer.

Can't wait till it is finished

that's cool, a buddy of mine has a Blazer Chalet that I posted on here for sale. unfortunately he's one of those guys that think everything he has is worth a fortune. I like Blazers I know of a few upgrades and also have parts, let me know if you need anything. highdesertranger

Cool indeed.  Excellent job on doing with what you got.  I'll be using my old Jeep for a tow vehicle and hopefully find my ideal vintage trailer along the way.  You gonna put a straight axle under the trailer?  Save a bunch of weight...

I do need some things for it but I'm also just gather what extra I can just to have in case.

I love it it is a 3 speed with a low gear. It is a beast I like going where other's can't.

Going to put helper shocks and do some upgrades to the engine for power

I belive the trailer axel is already that way there is no pumpkin just a straight pole. The guy was a good fabricaor and even extended the front so I can build in under the cabover part for storage.

just a hint, helper shocks are never a good idea. shock mounts are not designed to carry weight. you will find this out with the lower mounts on the front axle. you will tear them right off. highdesertranger

Nice. I miss my ol' Blazer, but needed the money for tuition. That beast took it all and begged for more.

Thanks I'm sure what it has will work.

Ya um the camper is going to be some work ha ha. Well it was free so it is what it is while it is nice has water damage up front in sleeping area everything else is good  has good appliances almost new water pump, fridge that works with propane and electric. Time to put in some work.

Hard right now to get to much done as I do not have income yet and I am basically homeless ha ha. Going to be hard to get supplies but that's life right i will get this done one way or another.

Wish me luck I am going to need it to get this done in time.....

Attaching a photo I took of Gold Water Lake near where I live let me know what you think

Canvas drop cloths and oops paint can do a lot. I used to haul / clean out people's houses and garages when they try to sell. Lots of old tarps and sealants and the like get thrown away, I believe some larger towns will filter, mix and sell paint for pennies on the dollar. Check out Poor Man's Fiberglass on Teardrops and Tiny Trailers as it may help you get a fix cheaply.

Don't really care how it looks lol just want it done and livable.

Made me a go fund me for this I know a lot of people might get some help way.

Thanks for the tips

I did my truck and old canopy in tan and black bedliner. Call it bohemian mad max chic, plus solar!
