Yeah, they basically put ads up for you everywhere, and run the click thrus through their site & counter, and keep the ads up until xx number of people have clicked through to your site.

Back in the day, when I ran thousands of websites, I used to sell traffic off them, but I couldn't figure out a way to automate that one, so I got out of it. About 5 years ago I got rid of everything that I couldn't totally automate.

I've still got some of the highest traffic sites on the net though, my yellow pages site gets about 7 million people a day through it.

Cheers!

Yea, I had a fairly sizable income from my web business about 4 years ago.i got hit by a few hard hits from people I was working with and it cost me a lot of money. At the same time the economy went to hell and everyone lost a lot of customers due to it and I wasn't able to recoup my losses.

I went from being on the verge of launching a very high end blogging system that automated hundreds to thousands of blogs to being hit hard and in debit with-in 6 months time.

It sort of burnt me out with doing work online and I just sold all my sites for what I could get at the time. I took a break from it for a few years and just got a job, but now I'm traveling I want to get my internet biz going again, but what I used to do is no longer feasible so I have to try something new.

Btw what are you doing online? PPC type stuff or selling the websites like you mentioned? I used to do pay per sale leads and had a lot of traffic at the time.

Greetings!

I sell Ebooks via an ecommerce site, Amazon, & Ebay, and I sell advertising in various shapes & forms. I don't mess with PPC, strictly monthly fees.

I don't think there's currently much around for PPS leads, and you could probably do really good with that. I would certainly use you. I used to use a lot of those, but haven't seen any recently. All of the ones I'm seeing advertise "Pay Per Sign-Up" but in the fine print, it has to be a FREE offer. What good is that!!! I can give stuff away for free just fine without having to pay someone!

I used to do hosting, and make/repair/update websites etc, but of my 2500+ hosting customers, I had about 1k of them that wanted frequent updates to their websites. The money was good, but I wanted to get out from underneath the headaches, so I turned all of that over to a friend who was struggling. Everything else I kept is totally automated, or at least nearly so.

If you can put together a Pay Per Sale System that works, not only will I be one of your first customers, I'll advertise it for you for free, and you should be on the road to making $10k-$20k per month in no time. I don't know of any around right now, but I used to pay out $2k-$5k a week between several of them.

Cheers!

Wow, it is very hopeful, all that you are telling us  How can I learn more about this?  I want so badly to become a fulltime van dweller, but my monthly income is only 800 so I've been afraid.  I am pretty smart, and have a bit of computer experience, took a coding class but over 10 years ago.  Do you have a website or anything where you show how one can get sttarted in earning online like this?  Sounds too good to be true, and I don't need the numbers you have, but of course they would be nice.  R u selling your own books, you write, or books in public dommain?
Thanks for any assistance.  Or direction to a tutorial type site.

Did you know that a good many (maybe even a small majority) of our vandwellers on this site, live on LESS than your $800 a month income???
If I'm not mistaken, I do believe the average is around $650. Rest your fears.

this is an almost 2 year old thread, or am i reading it wrong. I wanted to pm the guy myself but saw he hasnt been on since 2014.

I personally know many vandwellers who live comfortably on less $800 a month, you can do it! If you don't pay a penny for housing, that leaves a lot leftover. However, it's a pretty minimum amount of money so you'd be better off trying to get extra income along the way to supplement your income.

You'll also want to have an emergency fund, I suggest at least $3000 to replace your van if you have to.

Don't get discouraged! $800 per month is enough to live well on!

Since this thread got a bump I will mention the Arizona Renaissance Festival in Apache Junction (just east of Phoenix).

It starts on 6 February and is open on weekends and holidays until 27 March. The starting date is just two weeks after the end of the Sports, Vacation, and RV show in Quartzite; with luck one might be able to find work in both.

Here is a link to the faire’s website which has a page with employment information:

(I plan to go, but only to nurture my inner nerd.)
