The first photo is what he looked like the day I bought him. Last week, I received the bed from Amazon that I ordered the week before. It's usually about $200, but it was on sale for $118, so I bought 2 of them. We only put one of them together and I stashed the other frame under the bed, and put both mattresses on the one bed. This way, if Bob decided to travel with me, we can convert the bed from a 30 inch wide cot, to a 60 inch wide queen bed. When I'm by myself, I can convert it from a 30" wide cot to a couch by propping the top mattress against the wall and sitting on the bottom mattress. That was last week. This week, I put down foam puzzle mat in order to add some cushiness to the floor and also some insulation. The floor is not insulated and I don't have the carpentry skills to pull up the floor and install insulation. Then I kinda girly-fied the cabinets in the front. Those are Dollar Tree placemats which fit perfectly in the cabinet doors. I've ordered  "golden oak" vinyl wallpaper so that I can have the look of wood without the weight. And I bought a portable A/C to use when I'm in a place with shore power. I think that I'm going to stick with a "5-day" cooler in my travels, at least until I get my solar power installed. I also ordered folding tables and benches for the interior. They've arrived, but I'm not going to install them until I get done with the wallpapering, [/font]

Nope, the cabinet doors are made like picture frames...a sheet of Plexiglas with a board behind it. Those are Dollar Tree placemats. They're the exact same size as the "frames" in the doors. However, I did hand paint the two bar stools. I've also ordered solar string lights that I'm going to use inside the trailer when I'm in there, and a couple of solar "porch" lights with motion detection. I'll stick them to the outside of the trailer with industrial Velcro. One will go next to the man-door, and I think I'll put the other one on the front of the trailer over the hitch. That way, if I end up hitching up in the dark, I'll have some light over the hitch.  I'm think I'm going to install a peep hole in the door, and my solar will be "ala Bob Wells" attached to plywood on a ladder rack on top of the trailer. I've measured and can affix six 100W solar panels to the top of the trailer as long as I cut a hole in the plywood to be able to raise my vent cover. I'm gonna try to not have it TOO crowded in the trailer, so I really am measuring everything just to make sure I have room for it. I'm using my bedside commode as a bathroom (since I already own it, it weighs about 1 lb., and it will store under my table.) I had knee surgery in 2017 and a lot of the medical equipment can have other uses. :)

I thought it looked nice before, but you've really made it even cozier and homier with those placemats! Really creative and great job!
