It's cool but being retired it would be out of my price range.
 
Toyota actually made a 1 ton truck box truck version that was rarely seen in this country but there are a few around still.
 
Tight squueze for anyone who is not themself a compact model.
 
Does Toyota still make flatbeds? Why not build something on a flatbed?

I think it's interesting that the new version has a much smaller living space than the original but undoubtedly also has a more powerful engine. Seems like something in the middle would make a lot more sense.
 
It rig is finished and showing at SEMA. It looks like they added some length, compared to the concept drawing.
