So have been reading that persons on the tmobile $30 month cellphone plan now have unlimited music streaming from PANDORA and other online musc services. It does not count against your monthly limit for data.

If you are stuck inside your van all day because of weather it's nice to have free quality music if you can get a cellphone data signal.

How can they tell the difference between data streams?

For instance is this video clip of Lily Allen at Glastonbury U.K. yesterday a freebie?

They watch the IP address of the stream?

They have agreements to pay for the data streamed with certain providers. Providers can then determine if the data is coming from T-mobile based on the type of Data and their frequency being used, and do not bill Tmobile for it. Tmobile takes the IP that was streaming based on the company's monthly reports and removes that from the bill of the customers' accounts.

This is all done automatically, and discrepancies will be refunded.

IE, free spotify WOOOO!

Have to warn people in this thread that tmobile $30 plan DOES NOT HAVE DATA ROAMING as many have mentioned. Was confused because it does have voice and text roaming.
