Throwing a Party!

I've got an important anniversary coming up (of the day I left the putz ex-husband) and I'd love to throw a party!&nbsp; I've already sold off most of my furniture so I'd rather not do it at my house.&nbsp; It's looking a little "non-traditional" around here these days.&nbsp; I'd rather not do it at someone else's house.&nbsp; That made me wonder about throwing a party if I live in a van.&nbsp; When you want to gather some great people with great food and wine, how do you host a party if your home is on wheels?!&nbsp; Can't wait to hear your ideas, you all are a creative bunch!<br><br>Thanks!<br><br>

How about a park?&nbsp; There's an anual park gathering I go to sometimes that the park likes because we clean up after ourselves, unlike most of the groups.<br><br>Hotels and rental halls are available, but they tend not be cheap.&nbsp; (Don't forget to include the cost of food/drinks, which you may have to do through them.)<br><br><br>

Here's an idea!<br><br>I belong to a truck enthusiast social group and once a quarter we gather at a different restaurant for a dinner. One of us finds a location that has a separate room for parties, reasonable prices&nbsp;and makes a reservation (after we poll the group as to how many plan to attend). Each of us pays for our own dinner, and we have a great time.<br>

<P>A campfire anywhere, makes for a good party.&nbsp; BYO food and beverages.&nbsp; The host supplies the location and firewood.</P>
