Looks like an RTS. Many folks don't care for them as they are slow moving and very low to the ground. Still there are a fair amount of folks who have converted them into RVs. You have probably seen them and didn't realize it.

These don't make for very good conversions, as the center isle is the only place where there's any headroom. The areas along the walls where the seating goes, is actually higher than the center isle.
She's also right in that the trannys are geared for city transit driving, so these don't do so well out on the open road...plus these are also very long slung.

But one nice thing about 'em, is that when you park them, the air ride deflates, making the first step in barely above ground level.
 
I've seen and ridden those "new-style GM busses" many times, just never seen one converted. That was in Auburn, ME.
