if memory serves,,,i think i read an article,,,,,some where about a bakery in SanFrancisco CA that made some great sourdough bread, changed location and they couldn't get the bread to taste the same as they had at the old location.

My statement stands as delivered.  The examples are valid, though not all necessarily apply to every item.  These things can be subjective.
