Thermometer for cooler recommendations?

Does anyone have recommendations for a small thermometer to keep in my cooler so I can keep a check on the temperature for the times I keep perishable items in there?

I put the outdoor sensor in my fridge and have an accurate temperature readout without opening the door. My fridge is a three way so it is important for me to keep an eye on the fridge temperature too.

I use a standard refrigerator type and check it when retrieving an item.

It’s easy to calibrate (boil it and set it with wrench built into case for temp at your altitude) and quite tough in day to day life!

correct me if I am wrong but don't you want one the records the high/low temp. that way you know if it got to cold/hot in between when you physically check it. highdesertranger

That is why I recommended the AcuRite. Mine does but I forgot to mention that part of it. Big feature IMHO

Depends on what you’re doing!

Confirming temperatures with a mechanical thermometer that does it’s job year after year can be useful!

Logging temperature highs/lows are also useful depending on what you want to do with your cooler or even depending on what you have in it!
