It seems like the name of this forum, Cheap RV Living, deserves to be taken seriously. Any post-adolescent who wants to talk about KOOL rigs must have so much money to squander that maybe they should move over to Expedition Portal.
The interesting part of his build is his creativity, and effort to build an early 60s inspired rig.
It could give someone ideas and building it yourself will not cost much more than just plain 2*3s and paint. The design elements are free in essence, simply incorporate.
And from his idea, one could go to a 70s theme, or any time period or fad or, it's up to your imagination...
It can be creative inspiration if one so chooses.
I'm looking at his mega glitter which can be duplicated pretty much with a couple spray cans of glitter and clear for $20 from Walmart.
Plus his design and build can be informative and educational for those who may choose to build a teardrop.
Agreed he went high dollar but that doesn't mean you have to. I went to all the high$ rigs at the RV show just looking for ideas, concepts and execution that I could adapt and use.
Btw, I always thought your name on here was just as cool and imaginative.
Kabloonie boonster, don't know what it means but it certainly has a nice ring to it.
Try to see the good in things and not just the negatives.
