Shocked that as a couple many are spending $3000 a month. So $36000 a year and hope you have a good nest egg for that. That's expensive living for many.

And that still take no account of medical insurance premium for most. If they can get away with it, many pay $0 and just gamble they will have no medical. Also many gamble they will have no major repairs on the vehicle. You need to have a savings monthly going for that. Expect to pay $1200 yearly in repairs and maintainable minimum. So $100 a month.

Being stationary is my weakness. Amazon prime makes it too easy for me to buy stuff. So I spend a lot there. By dec 31st id gross about 50k for the year..as a postal employee, many 60 hr weeks. Its more money than I need. Sure I can find a use for it...but i wish I didnt have it. You just fall into the consumer lifestyle...hard to break from it.
