Not sure on legality status but I've been using tubeplus.me and project free tv for a couple of years now. Tv shows are generally uploaded within an hour or so of original airing, movies are available when they come out on dvd. Adblock is key to using these sites glitch free. Now that I'm living in the van I generally find what I want when I have wifi and download them to realplayer for later viewing before bed time. They tend to not be playable on phones or tablets though. I strictly use my laptop for this aspect of offline entertainment.
