I gave myself 3 weeks and a set budget to personalize my van by adding features for safety and comfort.

So, what exactly did I end up doing to the van?

1. Purchased gear
   
   • Fridge (link)
   • Bike Rack – craigslist
   • Upgraded Bed/mattress
     • Covers (custom job by etsy shop owner)
   • Compact camping table (link)
   • Compact camping chairs (link)
   • Compact camping toilet (link)
     • urinal (link)
   • Storage bin (link)
2. Decorated
   • Made curtains
   • Painted Cabinet doors
   • Made decorative message panels
3. Added practicality
   • Created under the bed storage
   • Painted the sink counter with enamel paint to make it easier to clean
   • Made insulating window panels (link to my experience making insulation panels (here))
4. Upgraded the van
   • Tinted windows
   • Got an alarm
   • Got a car stereo
   • Put on a hitch for a bike rack
   • Had the interior professionally cleaned
