The back story of Mr.Loo

I am a divorced man with no children six years away from getting a social security check, who was an only child and my parents have passed.

I live in the Pocono’s and have a seasonal job with better than average local wages as a technician on a 27 hole golf course for about six months per year.

Four years ago I downsized from a rented 1K sq ft ranch on ½ acre to a 1966 two-bedroom 35’ park model (no property taxes) that I paid with one easy payment of $2k that was furnished right down to the silverware.

It’s rests on leased land in a small unmarked seasonal campground in the upper Lehigh Gorge that costs me $1500 per year with electric included. My water comes from a natural spring and septic is 55-gallon drum style.

The reason for my appearance is to plan for upcoming winter expeditions to Florida and South Texas with an old pickup with a XXL alum top that I bought this spring.

Thanks to all who have replied to my posts, there will be more to come as I try to outfit less than 45 sq ft into a long-term living arrangement.

I can navigate around Charlotte County without a map!

Never spent any time there except for winter. Too much sun, heat, and humidity when you’re coated with powered sugar!

I lived in a Ford F150 for 3 years with a very similar setup with an 80 pound dog and loved it, so I know it can be done. My F150 had a 7 foot bed so I only had 42 sq ft. My shell was very similar except it was home-built out of plywood and was 46 inches above the side of the bed. I had 4x4 and I took that rig some places in the Colorado Rockies that left a stain in my undies! Great memories!!
