^ Roger that. I needed to see for myself what the hubbub was about so I did a little viewing. Like yourself Lenny, I have a life to live. YT is still a good information source for me, and I use it to hear a soundtrack too. Much of the other stuff, meh.

Coming back to this post ^ later has me thinking that it may come across in an off putting way, so please allow something of a qualifying statement in that I don't watch television and haven't for decades. Of course at one time I did, but about 50 years ago a recurring thought presented itself, "There goes __ minutes that I'll never get back." However, I will not chide anyone for watching TV as it is a source of entertainment & information, and essentially youtube is television as well. Apparently I'm just a little different in my source of entertainment, nothing more. Peace

I've never met Nomadic Fanatic so I don't have a true opinion about him. Whoever likes him, hates him, thinks he's a drama queen, thinks he's not a drama queen, is a felon, lies, and whatever they may think of NF...I'm sure there are worse people out there. That being said, I probably won't be watching the series simply because I have other things to do and see.

An adult male that pushes a cat around in a stroller. I'm still trying to decide if it's cute or ??? And I keep asking myself, "what would John Wayne say about that?" This is coming from a middle-aged woman who pushes around 2 corgis in a stroller...

I worry that all this attention and people scrambling to make money off of it is going to kill or severely limit the lifestyle before I even get a chance to live it. Once something gets popular it usually gets ruined.

I've met Nomadic Whineaddict. I'm one of the ones who sent money and didn't get a sticker. I'm one of the people who have been treated with disrespect by a few of his fans while he watched on if he didn't include himself in it. I'm good.

Seems like I'm always moving to get OUT of a crowd. I have reservations about nomadic living being "discovered".

I had a beautiful hiking spot that got discovered. It became popular. No one will ever see from the now-paved and regulated road; what I saw in 4WD, from the two tracks that were there before.

Now the reason for going down that road vanished. ATV's courses, rangers, crowds, regulations pavement, Fees, the simple experience is gone.

I know there can be positives that come from large numbers.  I've seen this phenomenon before, where fame leads to increased attention and scrutiny leads to regulations, fees...etc.
