You might also consider the new line of Trojan Lithium batteries, the Trojan Trillium.

Waterproof, tons of failsafe, supposed to last for 4000 to 8000 cycles.

Thanks, I'll try and get a price quote this week for future reference. :)

Re: Trojan Trillium batteries

I was quoted $1330-ish for the TR 12.8-110 Li-ion Battery and $1099-ish for the TR 12.8-92 Li-ion Battery. More money than any of the others I have priced so far. So far the carbon foam Firefly brand looks like the least expensive way to get at least 200ah other than lead acid. I'm not going the lead acid route. Gives me a better idea of what my cost will be. Still need to sell my personal junk and car and get a van anyway. Might be a price drop at some point between now and then anyway!
Thanks for the heads up on the Trojan Trillium batteries. I'll be keeping an eye on them. :)

The Trojan Trillium are not really available yet so hard to pinpoint the price but

https://www.thesolarbiz.com/trojan-trillium-li-ion-12-8v-92ah.html

has them for $899 for the 92ah

The 92ah version has canbus communication which I like for installing the batteries in remote hard to reach places and being able to monitor them in large banks.

I like the qty 16 pricing which gets down to the $750 area per battery.   Group RTR purchase!
