Summer Living

This will be our first summer living full time in our SUV. Just curious what towns most of you spend your summers in? Not really excited about Flagstaff or higher elevations in Arizona. Just seeing what other towns/areas we might now have thought of. Thanks.

Not offended but I am curious.  Why would prefer not to be in northern Arizona?  The forests are very open and make for a very comfortable environment.  This year Mo and I are looking at the North Rim area of AZ and National Forests Fishlake and Dixie in UT.  That should keep us busy for a while.  I look forward to the areas you choose.  So many to pick from.  

I have also lived in the back country in eastern OR and it is really nice.  You can park in a mountain meadow along side a creek and be quite comfortable.  The Malhuer is the forest that I am familiar with.  One year we stayed in the forest all summer.  Quite idyllic actually.  Send me a PM if you would like more a detailed guide as to where to look.
