Hey All-
I have a success story...sort of.
We live in Minnesota and the last few days it's been near or below zero.
This kind of weather is good to run an engine a little, so you can keep the battery charged and
just keep everything working. I didn't do that with the van, and just went out and the battery was dead.
Now, it's a new battery so I know it's not that. It's just the cold.
When I was putting together the alternator charging solenoid thingy I put a switch in the front to
connect the two. Sort of a big on/off. (It's a long story why) Anyway today that came in handy.
I flipped the switch, and turned the van on. I switched it off for awhile afterword so it would charge the
front battery, and then went for a drive with the switch on to recharge the back one too. Worked great.
I'm super excited.
