I read the book (great job) and had a question about the windows. It says to spray paint one side of the reflectix black. Are you painting the out facing side or in facing side?
I'm assuming it is facing in because if the black side was touching the window the paint would probably get it dirty and the reflective material would be covered over. But I wanted to be sure.

Thanks - great forum and lifestyle here!

hun73r, yes, the idea is to paint one side of he Reflectix and turn it with day and night summer and winter. It needs the silver side out to reflect heat but at night you can turn it around so the black side is out giving you more stealth. In the winter when reflecting heat isn't good turn the black side out to absorb heat and keep warmth in.

That wasn't very clear in the book and it won't always work depending on how you attach it to the window. If you are compression fitting it in the window it works pretty well but will wear out the reflectix faster.
