I've been searching for awhile now for cookware I could use for small meals in a solar cooker.  Well I SCORED a creative victory in the Cottonwood Wal-Mart today.

If you head over to the kitchen section go to the aisle that has the individual plates and bowls you can buy singles of.  In that section are some plates and bowls that look just like Graniteware.  There are also some small rectangular baking pans.

While playing around with them I realized the small plate covers the bowl just right.  Bingo!  Pot and a lid!  I also got 2 of the rectangular pans and I'll flip one over on top of the other.

These don't fit each other perfect and you'll have to be careful to not knock the "lids" off but they will be a reasonable substitute.

The company name is Cinsa and the labels on all of them say Hispanic.

Start simple and small. Cornbread is fast and easy. Put something under the pot so that the light hits the bottom of your pot too. You could make a simple stand from a coat hanger. Wrapping the pot in a oven bag seals in the moisture and helps seal in the heat.

I've got a turkey bag ready.  I'm going to test out that prototype as soon as this wind dies down.  The bottom of that is shiny but I found out that shiny surface scratches easily so anything I use is going to mar the surface. Gotta try it though. I'll see what I can find.

I'm going to cook me up a sweet potato!

Can I reuse the turkey bag or one use only?

You should be able to reuse the oven bag if nothing else you can wipe it down after use.

Looks like tomorrow will be my best test day for awhile. I'll hit the gym then head for Walmart and see what I can find that I can set on the bottom of that cooker for the pans to set on. I've got 3 different kinds of sweet potatoes, apples, a sweet onion, some olive oil, sage, salt and pepper. It won't all fit so I'll have to cook a couple few times. Good way to adjust if needed.
