I will installing my 100w flexible panel and purchasing a Wally world 29DC battery. I have some questions on the install.

Is using a plastic snap top battery box ok?
I will be using Renogy 10ga outdoor wire from panel to the Samlex 30A controller.
Can use the same 10ga wire from the controller to the battery?
Do I need a fuse setup between the solar controller and battery?
I will taking power from battery direct to a blade fuse panel for the accessories.
I will be wiring a Fantastic fan, Dometic cf25, led lights, 2 cig marine sockets only.
What amp fuse should I use for each of these four separate circuits in my fuse panel?
The Dometic will be wired direct to the fuse block.

My future plans is to then install a solenoid hooked the alternator correctly.
I have been alot of reading on this forum to find answers.

My vacation starts Jun 9 for 2 weeks. I will heading to the RTR in Flagstaff. Looking forward to meeting some people.

Is using a plastic snap top battery box ok? As far as I'm concerned that's all you need. But I worry less about off-gassing than most people. I've had batteries off-gassin in my van for the last 14 years
I will be using Renogy 10ga outdoor wire from panel to the Samlex 30A controller.
Can use the same 10ga wire from the controller to the battery? Yes--if you never grow the system.
Do I need a fuse setup between the solar controller and battery? Yes, an line fuse on the positive side very near the battery with a 15 amp fuse.
I will taking power from battery direct to a blade fuse panel for the accessories. Perfect! Fuse it as well with a 40 amp fuse.
I will be wiring a Fantastic fan, Dometic cf25, led lights, 2 cig marine sockets only. Sounds good!
What amp fuse should I use for each of these four separate circuits in my fuse panel? I don't understand, you fuse the fuse back on the positive line from the battery, the fuse black has fuses in it for each circuit, that you ad. Are you asking what fuse to put in the block for each circuit? 10 amp for all of them.
The Dometic will be wired direct to the fuse block. I don't understand again, isn't everything being wired directly to the fuse block? Why not?

Here is a picture of my wiring so far.
So i need a 15 amp fuse between the solar controller and the battery positive terminal?
And you are saying use a 40 amp fuse on the postive lead of the fuse block to the battery positive terminal? Then add 4 10 amp fuses in the slots of the fuse block?

My wiring is like this. Solar panel to controller. Controller output directly to battery.
Then i will hooking the accessories through the fuse panel and hooking pos and neg directly to the battery terminals also.

I have been a Slot Tech for the last 8 years. I have done electronics since I was a kid. I have extensive of electronics. This is my first van wiring job. Thats why i am asking questions.

Sounds good Bob really want to meet you. I lived in Arizona for over 5 years in the late seventies. I was born in Las Vegas. I will be coming from Mesquite, Nv.

Oh also the small gauge green wires are just for some led light strips hooked up to switches.

So i need a 15 amp fuse between the solar controller and the battery positive terminal? Correct. You might want to put one between th panel and the controller. Some people will tell you that is ovrkill, and it may be. But it will protect that wire, but more importantly, if for any reason you need to cut the power from the panels to the controller, all you have to do is pull a fuse. An example is if you were putting it in storage and didnt want the panels constantly feeding the batteries.
And you are saying use a 40 amp fuse on the postive lead of the fuse block to the battery positive terminal? Correct again! Then add 4 10 amp fuses in the slots of the fuse block? Bingo we have a winner! Yes, the fuses at the block are to protect the devices, the fuse from the battery to block is to protect that wire in case it's ever damaged. You could argue it's overkill, but with electrical, is that really possible?
