Thirteen-and-a-half hours loading in the stage and lighting the day before, nineteen hours of audio load-in, sound checks, performances and audio tear down the day of, three hours of sleep on site, then eight hours of stage tear down the day after.

I had a lot of fun working this one.

I worked as a grip at my local arena from 2004-2006 in the winter months to supplement seasonal self-employment income. Changed over from ice hockey to stage show and then back to ice hockey then to dirt=monster trucks in just seven days. I feel your pain.

In my hometown is the biggest production company in North America.

The pain is just tired muscles and sore knees along with a touch of exhaustion, but I had a blast working this gig. Even though it wasn't all of the surviving originals, the Beach Boys can still put on a hell of a show.
